Umbillicals

The Luno Umbilical consists of 2 breathing air hoses 14mm diameter, a stainless steel cable restraint, and communication cable.

Twisted to avoid uneven strain and inertia build up the umbilical is encased in a 2.5mm tough polyurethane ‘loose’ jacket. This prevents chemical ingress into the airlines and communications and enables easy decontamination. Umbilicals are terminated with either standard Luno ends with a cable boot, or can be customised to the client’s requirement.

Equipment cabling may be protected with zip in umbilical covers. The system also carries Atex approval for intrinsic safety in potentially explosive atmospheres.
